The U.S. Census Bureau has now released the first local area data from the 2007 Economic Census.  The data are for states, counties, cities and metro areas in ten states in the West and New England, and include retail trade, accommodations, and rental and leasing sectors, among others.

Hundreds of students in Crawford County will begin athletic programs in the fall and all of them must pass a physical in order to participate.  This year the staff at Cornerstone Clinic and Internal Medicine & Associates, clinics operated by Summit Medical Center, volunteered to conduct the physicals free of charge for all Van Buren, Mountainburg and Cedarville students.
