2010 Fort Smith Classic

John Daly is playing in the 2010 Fort Smith Classic
Daly announced at a press conference on Friday, May 7th, 2010 that he would be playing in the Fort Smith Classic. "When Patricia (Brown, Classic tournament director) came here (Thursday) and was talking about how the Fort Smith Classic may be lost because they don’t have a title sponsor, I said ‘Well, maybe it would help if I played,” Daly said. "We never want to lose a tournament in the state of Arkansas. I hope I’m helping. It’s great for golf. It’s great for our community.”

The Fort Smith Classic is seeking volunteers for its 2010 events
More than 500 volunteers are needed for this year's tournament, however positions fill up quickly. Register today.

How many shifts am I required to work?
Volunteers can work as little or as much as they like. We ask you to volunteer for at least two shifts (approximately 10 hours).

Why are we charged a fee?
The $30 Friends of the Fort Smith Classic membership fee is used to offset the cost of the managing the volunteer program, volunteer uniform, food and beverage. It is very typical for professional sporting events to charge a volunteer fee.

Where do I park?
Volunteer parking will be at Southside High School (4100 Gary Street). The shuttle will drop you at Hardscrabble Country Club and pick you up there to return you to your vehicle after your shift.
